Development News & Pre-Release Builds

All registered users are welcome, entitled and encouraged to download pre-release builds of Doggiebox, currently under development, and to provide feedback on feature implementations or usability experiences.

These pre-release builds are announced on the general discussion mailing list, and now also feature a new "check for updates" mechanism to automatically fetch new builds as they become available. This page will not usually be updated with every build release, so join the list or use "check for updates" to keep current.

Please note: Doggiebox may behave as though unregistered and refuse to launch if you are upgrading from build 1G08 or older. If this happens, re-activate Doggiebox by first copying your registration key to the clipboard, then re-launch. You can easily retrieve your registration key via Doggiebox 1.4.3 by holding the Option key and choosing "About Doggiebox" from the main menu.

As of this writing (26 July 2010) the most recent build is 1G10, which can be downloaded here. A valid Doggiebox registration key and Mac OS X 10.5 or newer are required.
